Philippine Red Cross nilinaw na hindi magbebenta ng COVID 19 vaccines

Naglabas ng paglilinaw ang Philippine Red Cross hinggil sa mga naglabasang ulat na magbebenta ang humanitarian organization ng COVID-19 vaccines.

“To set the record straight, PRC Chairman Richard Gordon never announced that the Red Cross is selling vaccines,” diin ni PRC Governor Ma. Carissa Coscolluela.

Aniya ang inihayag ni Gordon ay naka-order na ng PRC ang 200,000 Moderna doses para sa pagpapabakuna ng 100,000 katao.

Dagdag pa nito, ang binili nilang COVID-19 vaccines ay para sa kanilang mga miyembro at donors na handang bayaran ang halaga ng bakuna, kasama na ang tinatawag na administration fee.

Giit pa ni Coscuella, hindi maaring i-negosyo ng PRC ang bakuna at hindi rin sila naniningil sa mga  bagay na ibinigay o donasyon lang sa kanila.
