PGH healthcare workers pinuri ni Sen. Leila de Lima sa pagligtas ng halos 500 pasyente

Kinilala at pinapurihan ni Senator Leila de Lima ang ipinamalas na kabayanihan ng health care workers para mailigtas ang halos 500 pasyente, kabilang ang 35 sanggol, nang masunog ang bahagi ng Philippine General Hospital.

Partikular na binanggit ni de Lima ang dalawang nurses na nagpakita ng tunay na malasakit nang buong tapang silang bumalik sa Neonatal Intensive Care Unit para sagipin ang mga sanggol na nasa ventilators.

“Nurses Kathrina and Jomar of PGH, along with other health care workers, are blessings to the 35 babies, their families and the medical community. Dahil sa kanila, 35 sanggol na nangangailangan ng agarang atensiyong medikal ang nailigtas sa panganib,” sabi ng senadora.

Kuwento ni Kathrina Bianca Macababbad nang mapansin nila na maari pa nilang balikan ang mga naiwang sanggol, hindi na sila nagdalawang isip ni Nurse Jomar na ibaba ang mga sanggol at magbitbit na rin ng mga kinakailangang kagamitan.

Kasabay nito, umapila na rin ang senadora ng tulong para sa mga sanggol.

“They are currently seeking donated breastmilk for remaining babies at PGH and for those transferred to other hospitals, as well as items such as diapers, wet wipes and diaper rash cream. For cash donations, people can donate to PGH Medical Foundation,” ang pakiusap ni de Lima.
