700,000 pamilya sa Maynila, tatanggap muli ng libreng food boxes

Humigit-kumulang 700,000 pamilya ang tatanggap muli ng libreng food boxes mula sa pamahalaang lokal ng Maynila sa ika-apat na sunod na buwan.

Ipinag-utos ni Mayor Isko Moreno ang pamamahagi muli ng food boxes sa ilalim ng COVID-19 Food Security Program.

Sa datos hanggang May 16, 2021, nasa 500,000 food boxes ang naipamahagi na sa District 1 hanggang 4 ng mga miyembro ng Department of Public Services, Department of Engineering and Public Works, at Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau.

Layon aniiya ng food security program na mapagaan ang pinagdadaanang hirap ng publiko bunsod ng COVID-19 pandemic.

“Ang naging polisiya natin kung saan natin diniretso yung kakayanan ng gobyerno ay pagbibigay ng importansya sa pagkain ng bawat pamilyang Manileño,” pahayag ni Moreno at aniya pa, “Tao muna bago kalsada. Ayaw ko pong may magutom sa Maynila, kakain tayo.”

Sa ngayon, ipinamamahagi na ang food boxes para sa District 5 ng nasabing lungsod.
