Military training facility sa Camp O’ Donnell, natapos na ng DPWH

Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang konstruksyon ng 3-storey building facility para sa Philippine Army sa bahagi ng Camp O’ Donnell sa Capas, Tarlac.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, handa nang gamitin ng Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) ng Philippine Army ang P117-million Army Leadership Development and Education Center (ALDEC) Phase I building.

Pinangunahan ni Villar ang handover ceremony ng ALDEC Building, araw ng Biyernes, May 14.

Kasama sa seremonya ng kalihim sina Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, DPWH Senior Undersecretary Rafael Yabut, at TRADOC Commander Major General Cornelio Valencia Jr. at ilang opisyal mula sa Philippine Army at DPWH Regional Office 3.

Magsisilbi ang bagong gusali bilang learning facility ng Philippine Army upang matupad ang mission ng training at maturuan ang army forces para palakasin ang land warfare competencies.

Napondohan ang naturang proyekto sa ilalim ng General Appropriations Act 2020.

Gagamitin din ito ng DPWH Region 3 Construction Division bilang venue para sa training ng leadership, development at edukasyon.

Ang naturang gusali ay mayroong generator set ar water tank.

Maliban sa ALDEC Building, katuwang ng DPWH ang DND-AFP sa ilalim ng Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) Program sa pagkumpleto ng iba pang support infrastructure sa Camp O’Donnell para sa TRADOC program.

Tiniyak ng kagarawan na nasunod ang health at safety protocols sa kasagsagan ng project inauguration at handover event.
