Itutuloy na ng Commission on Elections ang voter registration sa National Capital Region Plus sa Mayo 17.
Ito ay matapos luwagan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang quarantine restrictions sa NCR mula sa Modified Enhanced Comuunity Quarantine patungo sa General Community Quarantine with heightened restrictions.
Ayon sa Comelec, magbubukas ang voter registration tuwing araw ng Lunes hanggang Biyernes ng 8:00 ng hanggang 5:00 ng hapon.
Una nang sinuspendi ng Comelec ang voter registration nang isailalim sa MECQ ang Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, at Rizal.
Sa talaan ng Comelec, nasa 58.9 milyon ang registered voter sa buong bansa.
