Pilipinas nagpatupad ng travel restrictions sa mga pasahero na galing ng Oman at United Arab Emirates

Hindi na muna papasukin sa bansa simula sa Mayo 15 ang mga pasahero na galing ng Oman at United Arab Emirates. Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ito ay bilang bahagi ng pag-iingat pa rin ng Pilipinas sa COVID-19. Bawal aniyang pumasok sa Pilipinas ang mga pasahero na mayroong travel history mula sa Oman at UEA sa nakalipas na 14 na araw. Tatagal ang travel restrictions hanggang May 31, 2021. Hindi naman kasama sa travel restrictions ang mga pasahero na nakabiyahe na at inaasahang darating sa bansa  hanggang mamayang alas dose ng hating gabi , Mayo 14 pero kinakailangan na sumailalim sa stricter quarantine and testing protocols, gaya ng pag-quarantine ng 14  na araw at RT-PCR  test o swab test. Samantala, tuloy pa rin ang travel restrictions hanggang May 31, 2021 sa mga pasahero na galing ng India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh at Sri Lanka.
