Ivermectin, dalawa pang anti-viral products pinag-aaralan kung epektibo sa African swine fever
Mahigpit na binabantayan ng Department of Agriculture ang pag-aaral sa tatlong anti-viral products kung magiging epektibong pangontra sa African swine fever.
Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing, sinabi ni Agriculture Secretary William Dar na kabilang na sa mga pinag-aaralan ang Ivermectin.
Sinusuri aniya ngayon ng Bureau of Animal Industry kasama ang hog raisers ang tatlong produkto.
Malalaman aniya ang resulta sa loob ng tatlong buwan.
“Mayroong tatlong anti-viral products na tini-testing na ngayon ng Bureau of Animal Industry in tandem with the hog raisers with some universities. At ito ay kagaya din sa bakuna, we would like to see whether these are effective or not. So i-observe po natin iyan for, say about 3 months at titingnan natin kung ituloy pa natin iyong trial. So we will follow iyong mga standard testing procedures or protocols para dito sa tatlong anti-viral products kagaya ng Ivermectin,” pahayag ni Dar.
