Sen. Tito Sotto umaasa na si Gen. Guillor Eleazar ang susunod na Ping Lacson sa PNP
Marangal na tao.
Ito ang maigsing pagsasalarawan ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III sa hinirang na bagong hepe ng pambansang pulisya, si Lt. General Guillermo Eleazar.
“Best choice ever. We would probably see another Ping Lacson,” sabi ni Sotto.
Ito rin ang reaksyon ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson; “Good pick. Aside from being the most senior, his long experience as a hardworking police officer makes him eminently qualified to lead the organization.”
Dagdag pa ni Lacson nataon ang pagkakapili kay Eleazar ngayon nahaharap ang bansa sa mapaghamon na panahon.
Para kay Sen. Bato dela Rosa naman, na nagsilbing unang PNP chief sa administrasyong-Duterte, nasa mabuting kamay ang pambansang pulisya ngayon si Eleazar ang mamumuno.
“Gen. Eleazar has the leadership qualities that would further elevate the level of professionalism in the PNP,” sabi pa ni dela Rosa.
Itinakda bukas ang pagpasa ni retiring PNP Chief Debold Sinas ng pamumuno ng pambansang pulisya kay Eleazar.
