‘Radio challenge’ inilabas ng PCG sa mga Chinese vessel sa Sabina Shoal
Nagbigay ng ‘radio challenge’ ang Philippine Coast Guard sa mga barko ng China sa Sabina Shoal na sakop ng West Philippine Sea.
Sa video na inilabas ng PCG, nagpadala ng mensahe ang isang babaeng miyembro ng Coast Guard na lulan ng BRP Cabra kung saan iginiit nito na nasa Exclusive Economic Zone ng Pilipinas ang mga foreign vessel.
“This is Philippine Coast Guard. We are BRP Cabra (MRRV-4409). You are within Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone. You are requested to provide the following name of vessel, intention, last and next port of call on Channel 16,” saad ng PCG member mula sa BRP Cabra.
Matapos ito, sinabi ni National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon na umalis din kaagad ang mga Chines vessel sa lugar.
