Diplomatic relation ng Pilipinas at China dapat suriin ng gobyerno
What kind of friend – or benefactor – would take what is ours, bully us, and ignore our protests?
Ito ang tanong ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson sabay hikayat sa gobyerno na pag-aralan ng Pilipinas ang relasyon ng China bunsod ng isyu ng panghihimasok sa teritoryo ng bansa.
Dagdag pa ng senador dapat din pagnilayan ang mga insidente ng pambu-bully ng China sa mga mangingisdang Filipino maging sa Philippine Coast Guard.
Dapat din aniya suportahan ng Senado si Foreign Affairs Sec. Teodoro Locsin Jr., na naghain ng sunod-sunod na diplomatic protests laban sa China.
“Maybe a review of the country’s diplomatic relations is timely and called for. All the diplomatic protests that the Secretary of Foreign Affairs filed have been ignored as if nothing was filed at all. The continued incursions and bullying finally got his goat. The Senate must support him in this regard,” sabi pa ng namumuno sa Senate Committee on National Defense.
Ipinagdiinan din ni Lacson na hindi dapat ikabit ang isyu sa West Philippine Sea sa ibang isyu partikular na ang donasyon ng COVID 19 vaccines sa Pilipinas ng China.
