Villar, nag-inspeksyon sa hemodialysis facility para sa COVID-19 patients sa NKTI
Nagsagawa ng inspeksyon si Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar sa bagong modular hospital para sa hemodialysis patients sa National Kidney Transplant Institute (NKTI) Compound Sa Quezon City, araw ng Biyernes (April 30).
“We fast-tracked the completion of this one (1) unit off-site Hemodialysis Facility to provide NKTI with 20 additional rooms that can accommodate a maximum of three (3) patients per treatment area or a total of 60 patients per day,” pahayag ni Secretary Villar.
Pinangunahan ng DPWH Task Force for Augmentation of Local/National Health Facilities, katuwang ang Bureau of Construction, ang konstruksyon ng pasilidad.
Ayon kay DPWH Undersecretary at Task Force Head Emil Sadain, hiniling ng pamunuan ng NKTI, sa pamumuno ng Executive Director Dr. Rose Marie Rosete-Liquete, ang konstruksyon ang dagdag na pop-up hospital.
Layon nitong magsilbing supplementary facility para sa COVID-19 patients na kailangang dumaan sa regular hemodialysis treatment.
Sa unang hemodialysis facility para COVID-19 patients ay may hiwalay na waiting area, staff area, treatment areas na may nakahandang standard machine components, at storage at water treatment area.
Maliban sa hemodialysis facility, magtatayo rin ang kagawaran ng off-site modular dormitory na may 16 kwarto na may double deck bed at toilet para maging pansamantalang tirahan ng NKTI frontliners.
