Konstruksyon ng mega modular hospital sa Mandaluyong, sinimulan na

Sinimulan na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang konstruksyon ng Mega Modular Hospital Project sa Mandaluyong City.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, inumpisahan ang ground works para sa off-site health facilities sa National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) compound matapos ang masusing pagpaplano ng DPWH Task Force for Augmentation of Local/National Health Facilities.

“We initiated the construction of the additional pop-up hospital to further augment the country’s healthcare facilities and ensure care is not hampered for Covid-19 patients and to protect the welfare of the Filipino people,” pahayag ng kalihim.

Sa ulat ni Undersecretary at DPWH Task Force Head Emil Sadain, nasa site na ang mga kagamitan at manpower para maitayo ang 11 cluster units ng modular health facilities.

Sinuri nito ang start up activities kung saan tututukan ang pre-development at site preparation sa proyekto.

Ang naturang proyekto ay may walong cluster units ng modular hospital, kung saan ang bawat isa ay may 22 airconditioned rooms na may hiwalay na toilet at paliguan o 176 total bed capacity.

Maliban dito, may tatlo pang cluster units ng off-site dormitories na itatayo para naman sa hospital personnel at iba pang health service frontliners.
