Pinalawig ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagpapatupad ng Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna at Rizal (NCR plus).
Sa kaniyang public address, Miyerkules ng gabi (Arpil 28), sinabi ng Pangulo na epektibo muli ang MECQ sa NCR plus hanggang Mayo 14, 2021.
Isasailalim din sa MECQ ang City of Santiago sa Isabela, Quirino at Abra sa buong buwan ng Mayo.
