Dating Cong. Marc Douglas Cagas at ERC chief Zenaida Ducut, kinasuhan sa Sandiganbayan
Kinasuhan ng Ombudsman sa Sandiganbayan si dating Davao del Sur Rep. Marc Douglas Cagas IV at dating Energy Regulatory Commission Chairperson Zenaida Ducut kaugnay ng pork barrel scam.
Kasong graft at malversation of public funds ang isinampa laban kina Cagas at Ducut at dalawamput-tatlong iba pang indibidwal.
Kinasuhan ng Ombudsman’s Office of Special Prosecutor si Cagas ng two counts ng paglabag sa Anti-graft and Corrupt Practices Act at hiwalay na two counts ng malversation of public funds sa ilalim ng Revised Penal Code.
Kapwa-akusado ni Cagas sa parehong mga kaso si Ducut at mga dating opisyal ng Technology Resource Center, Department of Budget and Management at National Agribusiness Corporation.
Co-accused din sa naturang mga kaso ang umano’y utak ng PDAF scam na si Janet Napoles, driver nitong si John Raymond de Asis at limang iba pang private individuals.
Ayon sa Ombudsman, naglaan si Cagas ng 7.550 million pesos ng kanyang PDAF noong 2008 sa dalawang pekeng NGO ni Napoles kapalit umano ng kickback at si Ducut ang naging agent nito.
