QC LGU, sasagutin ang pagpapalibing sa residenteng nasawi sa inorganisang community pantry ni Angel Locsin

Sasagutan ng Quezon City government ang burial expenses sa 67-anyos na residenteng nasawi sa inorganisang community pantry ng aktres na si Angel Locsin.

Nagsagawa ang aktres ng community pantry sa bahagi ng Barangay Holy Spirit para ipagdiwang ang kaniyang kaarawan.

Habang nakapila, inatake sa puso si Rolando dela Cruz at idineklarang dead on arrival nang isugod sa ospital.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni QC Mayor Joy Belmonte na ikinalulungkot nila ang pagpanaw ng senior citizen.

Maliban sa pagpapalibing, sinabi ng alkalde na mag-aabot ng tulong pinansiyal ang lokal na pamahalaan sa naiwang pamilya ng senior citizen.

“While Quezon City will continue to throw its full support behind community pantry initiatives, this unfortunate incident should serve as an important reminder for organizers to please be reminded of my appeal to coordinate all efforts with the barangay, and if necessary, with the LGU,” ani Belmonte.

Sinabi ng alkalde na nakahanda ang barangay at lokal na pamahalaan para umasiste sa crowd control at health protocols upang matiyak na maiiwasan ang mga hindi inaasahang insidente.

“Advanced coordination will allow all stakeholders to be proactive, rather than reactive,” dagdag pa nito.

“Sadly, in this case, we were not advised regarding any plans, which would have surely made a difference in the outcome of today’s events,” saad pa ng alkalde.

Hinikayat naman ni Belmonte ang mga residente sa QC na ipagpatuloy ang pagiging mabuti at mahabagin.
