Karl Kendrick Chua, itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte bilang NEDA Secretary
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Karl Kendrick Chua bilang National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary.
Kumpirma ito ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roqe.
Na-appoint si Chua bilang acting NEDA chief noong April 2020 matapos bumitiw sa pwesto si dating Secretary Ernesto Pernia.
“Secretary Chua has served the Duterte Administration with professionalism, competence and integrity as Undersecretary of the Department of Finance and Acting Secretary of the NEDA,” pahayag ni Roque.
Kumpiyansa aniya ang Palasyo na maipagpapatuloy ni Chua na gampanan ang tungkulin upang maibangon ang ekonomiya sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.
“With the aforesaid traits we are confident that Sec. Chua would continuously and consistently perform well in his present but crucial task of jumpstarting our economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” ani Roque.
