Pangulong Duterte, nakiisa sa paggunita ng Earth Day 2021
Nakiisa si Pangulobg Rodrigo Duterte sa paggunita ng Earth Day 2021 sa araw ng Huwebes, April 22.
Sa mensahe ng Pangulo, sinabi nito na ipinapaalala ng Earth Day na dapat pangalagaan ang planeta.
“I join the entire nation and the global community in celebrating Earth Day 2021. This occasion reminds us of our inherent responsibility to take care of our planet,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Kasabay nito, hinimok ng Pangulo ang publiko na makiisa sa mga gawain at mga programa para maging climate resilient at climate-smart ang Pilipinas.
“This Earth Day, let us work with renewed vigor to engage our people, our local communities, our industries, and all other stakeholders and our efforts to achieve a climate-resilient and climate-smart Philippines,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
“As we recover from the adverse effects of Covid-19 pandemic on our lives and economy, let us always bear in mind that a healthy nation is anchored on a healthy and sound natural environment,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
