2 sa 5 health workers sa PGH, nagpopositibo sa COVID-19

Nasa dalawa hanggang limang health workers sa Philippine General Hospital (PGH) ang nagpopositibo sa COVID-19 kada araw.

Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing, sinabi ni PGH spokesman Dr. Jonas del Rosario na kapag kasi nakararanas ng sintomas o na-expose ang isang health worker, agad itong isinasalang sa swab test.

“At least po in a day, sometimes mga 2 to 5 health-care workers will turned out to be positive. But medyo nakaka-cope up naman po kami ngayon, dahil naghigpit po kami ng mga protocols at malaking bagay po iyong ini-institute naming changes na halos mababa na po iyong infection rate po ng health-care workers namin ngayon, which is a big help po sa aming situation,” ayon kay del Rosario.

Ayon kay del Rosario, malaking tulong din para sa kanilang hanay na maibsan pa ang bilang ng mga nagpopositibo kung palalawigin pa ang Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila at mga kalapit na probinsya.

Sa ngayon, umiiral ang MECQ hanggang sa katapusan ng Abril.
