‘Community pantry’ dapat gawin ng gobyerno, pribadong sektor
Dapat tularan ng gobyerno at mga pribadong kompaniya ang nagsusulputang mga community pantry sa ibat-ibang bahagi ng bansa.
Ito ang sinabi ni Sen. Sonny Angara at aniya napakaganda ng nasimulan sa Maginhawa street sa Quezon City dahil marami na ang tumutulong sa mga kapwa Filipino kahit sa maliit na pamamaraan.
“It is encouraging to see more Filipinos demonstrating the bayanihan spirit by putting up community pantries for the benefit of people who are struggling during these very challenging times,” sabi ng senador.
Aniya kung tutuusin maliit na bagay ang pamamahagi ng libreng gulay, prutas, bigas at iba pang bagay, ngunit malaking tulong ito sa mga labis na naghihirap ngayon may pandemya.
“We encourage our local government units, the national government, and even private businesses who can afford it to replicate and even scale up these community pantries to cater to even more people,” ayon pa sa senador.
Dagdag pa ni Angara ang maliit na pagtulong kapag ginaya ng marami ay mas magiging makahulugan.
