Limang sakay ng lumubog na motorbanca nasagip ng PCG
Nailigtas ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station Davao Oriental and Special Operations Unit – Southeastern Mindanao ang limang sakay ng lumubog sa motorbanca sa Pujada Bay, Mati City, Davao Oriental.
Ayon sa PCG, umalis ng Barangay Macabol, Mati City ang nasabing motorbanca dakong 5pm, araw ng Sabado, April 17.
Patungo sana sa Vanishing Island in Davao del Norte ang nasabing motorbanca ng makaranas ng malalaking alon dahilan upang ito ay tumaob.
Matapos matanggap ang tawag sa isang pasahero, kaagad nagpadala ng search and rescue (SAR) team ang PCG.
Nasagip naman lahat ng pasahero at isinailalim sa medical check-up bago pinauwi.
