FDA muling nagbigay ng ‘compassionate permit’ sa paggamit ng Ivermectin

Ibinahagi ni Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Director General Eric Domingo na may pinagbigyan muli silang ospital para magamit ang Ivermectin sa COVID-19 patient.

Tumanggi naman muli si Domingo na banggitin ang ospital na nabigyan din ng ‘compassionate special permit’ dahil kailangan pangalagaan ang privacy ng pasyente.

Ibinibigay ang CSP para magamit ng mga doktor o ospital ang isang unregistered medical products sa limitadong panahon.

Kasabay nito, inamin ni Domingo na nakakaramdam siya ng matinding pressure sa kanilang posisyon sa Ivermectin, na isang anti-parasitic drug.

Ngunit pagtitiyak niya na hindi sila apektado ng pressure.

“People are attacking me from every side. I’ve been to congressional hearings. People who are in power try to give their opinion about it. But science kasi doesn’t work that way. It’s not something you can hurry up or that your passion can make the conclusions go either way. It has to be very objective,” diin niya.
