Ipinagpaliban ang summer edition ng Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Ayon kay MMFF spokesperon Noel Ferrer, napagdesisyunan ng 2021 MMFF Executive Committee, sa pangunguna ni MMDA chairman Benhur Abalos, na ipagpaliban ito hangga’t hindi pa bukas ang mga sinehan sa publiko.
Sa halip, tututukan na aniya ng MMFF EXECOM ang yearend holiday festival.
Nagtakda na aniya ng deadline upang maagang maabisuhan ang mga interesadong producer at filmmaker, habang sinusunod ang proper health protocols.
Narito ang proposed 2021 MMFF Festival Calendar:
“With this, it is the MMFF EXECOM’s vision to encourage the submission of excellent films that would inspire, uplift and connect to a broader Filipino audience for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival even as we navigate creatively through this present pandemic,” pahayag pa ni Ferrer.
