Pajo bridge sa Lambunao, Iloilo tapos nang ayusin

Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang rehabilitasyon sa 122.56-lineal meter Pajo Bridge sa bahagi ng Lambunao-Inca Road sa Lambunao, Iloilo,

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, pinatibay ng P21.6-million project ang tulay para matugunan ang road safety concerns at transportation needs.

Pinuri naman ng kalihim ang DPWH Iloilo 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) para sa maayos na rehabilitasyon sa nasabing tulay.

Kabilang dito ang paglalagay ng carbon fiber sheet at carbon fiber plate; installation ng asphalt plug joint; aplikasyon ng water proofing, asphalt overlay, at pavement markings; at maging ang pagpipintura at scour protection works.

Ani Villar, importante ang pagsasaayos sa Pajo Bridge dahil patuloy na idinadaan sa Lambunao-Inca Road ang mga heavy loaded vehicles at equipment para sa nagpapatuloy na construction sites sa Panay East West Road, na magkokonekta sa probinsya ng Iloilo at Antique via old Route.

Sa tulong ng tulay, inaasahang mas mapapabilis ang delivery ng mga produkto at serbisyo.

Mapapadali rin ang biyahe patungo sa Iloilo International Airport at iba pang lugar sa Panay Island.
