Grupo ng mga negosyante, pinalalayas na rin ang Chinese vessels sa West Philippine Sea
Sumama na ang walong malalaking organisasyon sa bansa sa mga nananawagan sa China na paalisin na sa West Philippine Sea ang higit 200 Chinese registered vessels.
“We call on the Chinese authorities to respect the sovereignty of the Philippine and other neighboring countries for it is only through peaceful co-existence that we can achieve prosperity for all,” ang mababasa sa pinag-isang pahayag ng walong organisasyon.
Ang pahayag ay inilabas ng Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ang pinakamalaki sa bansa, kasama ang Management Association of the Philippines, Makati Business Club, Judicial Reform Initiative, Filipina CEO Circle, Bishops-Businessmen’s Conference for Human Development.
Suportado sila ng mga grupo ng mga negosyante sa Cebu at Iloilo.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na tinuligsa ng pribadong sektor ang China dahil sa ulat ng 240 Chinese vessels ang nagkalat sa West Philippine Sea na malinaw na bahagi ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas.
