Dalawang puganteng Korean national, timbog sa Parañaque

Arestado ang ikalawa at ika-apat na most wanted online fraud suspects sa South Korea sa magkahiwalay na operasyon sa Parañaque City, araw ng Martes.

Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Debold Sinas, naaresto sina Yu Daewoong, 39-anyos; at Kang Wesung, 36-anyos, na subject sa Interpol Red Notice.

Sinabi ng hepe ng PNP na naipaalam na sa Police Attaché ng Korean National Police sa Pilipinas ang pagkakaaresto sa mga pugante sa pamamagitan ng Foreign Liaison Division ng PNP Directorate for Intelligence.

“The arrest of these international fugitives is part of the commitment of the Philippine government as a member of the Internal Criminal Police Organization (ICPO-INTERPOL) to assist member states in the arresting wanted fugitives,” pahayag ni Sinas.

Unang nahuli ng mga awtoridad si Yu sa bahagi ng No. 100 Hawaii Street dakong 11:15 ng umaga habang si Kang naman ay naaresto sa Miami Tower, Penthouse 20, Azure bandang 12:15 ng tanghali.

Sanib-pwersa sa operasyon ng mga operatiba ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Major Crimes Investigation Unit at Bureau of Immigration.

Sa ngayon, ang dalawang dayuhan ay nasa kustodiya ng CIDG-MCIU.
