Bagong passenger terminal building ng Tagbiliran Port, nakatakdang pasinayaan bukas

Nakatakdang pasinayaan ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) ang nakumpletong second Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) ng Tagbilaran Port sa Bohol.

Ayon sa DOTr, importante ang pagkakakumpleto ng proyekto para sa main seaport ng Tagbiliran matapos magtamo ng matinding pinsala ng tumamang lindol noong 2013.

Isasagawa ang seremonya sa araw ng Miyerkules, Abril 14, at hudyat din ito ng pagsisimula ng operasyon ng bagong PTB.

Pangungunahan nina DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade at PPA General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago ang seremonya, kasama ang iba pang opisyal ng gobyerno.

Isinagawa ang bagong PTB upang madagdagan ang passenger capacity ng Port of Tagbilaran at para makapaghatid ng mas komportableng sea travel.

Sa tulong ng bagong PTB, kaya nang makapag-accommodate ng Tagbiliran Port ng 1,110 pasahero.

Matapos ang seremonya sa bagong PTB, inaasahang magsasagawa ng inspeksyon sina Tugade, Santiago, at iba pang transport officials sa isa pang infrastructure project, ang Port of Maribojoc sa Bohol.

Kabilang din ang Maribojoc port sa lubhang napinsala ng lindol noong 2013.

Sa ngayon, 95.41 porsyento na ang progress rate ng Maribojoc Port Improvement Project hanggang March 2021.
