Ayon sa Capas Information Office, sinabi ng Municipal Health Office na posibleng nahawa ng virus ang alkalde dahil sa hindi maiiwasang exposure kasunod ng tungkulin bilang isang public servant.
Bilang precautionary measure, isinara muna ang Local Government Unit ng Capas simula 12:00, Martes ng tanghali (April 6) para sa disinfection sa lahat ng opisina.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and we sincerely ask the public to join our prayers for the safety of Capas public servants and Mayor Catacutan’s healing & fast recovery in his isolation,” saad pa nito.
