Mga bus na bumibiyahe sa EDSA busway sa ilalim ng service contracting program, may libreng sakay na simula sa April 7
Magpapatupad ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ng libreng sakay para sa mga healthcare worker at authorized persons outside of their residence (APOR) gamit ang public utility buses sa ruta ng EDSA Busway (Route E).
Ito ay tugon sa direktiba ni Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade na magbigay ng karagdagang tulong sa healthcare workers at APOR sa gitna ng pag-iral ng Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) sa NCR plus bubble.
Sisimulan ito sa araw ng Miyerkules, April 7, 2021.
Kailangan lamang ipakita ang ID sa pinagtatrabahuang ospital o kumpanya para makapag-avail ng libreng sakay.
Tiniyak ng LTFRB na bukas ang libreng sakay nang 24 oras, araw-araw.
Maliban sa mga free ride ng mga pampasaherong bus, patuloy din ang mga jeepney sa pagbibigay ng libreng sakay sa mga APOR sa 50 ruta sa NCR at iba pang karatig na rehiyon.
