P3-M halaga ng ecstacy at kush marijuana nasamsam sa Pasay
Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang iba’t ibang klase ng ilegal na droga, kabilang ang ecstasy at kush marijuana, sa Pasay City.
Sanib-pwersa sa operasyon ang BOC – Port of NAIA Customs sa pamamagitan ng Anti-illegal Drugs Task Force (CAIDTF), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG).
Itinago ang 1,681 tablets ng ecstacy na nagkakahalaga ng P2,857,700 sa loob ng isang microwave oven.
Samantala, nadiskubre naman ang 133 gramo ng kush marijuana na may estimated street value na P159,600 sa loob ng isang metal toy box.
Dahil dito, umabot sa P3,017,300 ang kabuuang halaga ng nasabat na ecstacy at marijuana.
Lumabas sa datos na ang nasamsam na ecstacy ay nagmula sa Netherlands at naka-consign sa isang recipient sa Quezon City.
Nagmula naman ang kush marijuana sa Amerika at naka-consign sa isang indibidwal sa Pasay City.
Nai-turnover na ang parcels sa PDEA, araw ng Martes (April 6, 2021), para sa case profiling at build up dahil sa posibleng paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (Republic Act 9165) na may kinalaman sa Section 119 (Restricted Importation) at Section 1401 (Unlawful Importation) ng Republic Act 10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).
