Gastusin ng mga COVID-19 patients pinababayaran ni Pangulong Duterte sa Philhealth
Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) na bayaran na ang lahat ng gastusin ng mga pasyente na tinamaan ng COVID-19 na nasa temporary tents sa labas ng mga ospital.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, pinasasagot na rin ni Pangulong Duterte sa Philhealth ang bayarin sa mga Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) o swab tests at isolation sa mga mild at critical na pasyente.
“Nagbigay ng direktiba po ang ating Presidente sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. na kasama sa health insurance coverage ang RT PCR tests, isolation sa accredited community isolation units at hospitalization para sa mild at critical cases ng COVID-19,” pahayag ni Roque.
Matatandaang sa pagdinig sa Kamara, nabatid na pinagbabayad ng mga ospital ang mga pasyente na tinamaan ng COVID-19 ng tig P1,000 kada oras kahit nasa temporary shelters at naghihintay ng admission.
