Mga senador ‘feeling positive’ sa naging desisyon ni Pangulong Duterte

Ikinatuwa ng ilang senador ang pagpayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na makabili ng COVID 19 vaccines ang pribadong sektor.

Sinabi ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson na ang desisyon ni Pangulong Duterte ang ‘best birthday gift’ nito sa kanyang sarili.

Ngunit sabi nito, maaring maging hamon pa rin kung susunod ang mga kinauukulang opisyal at aniya, kung agad nang pinayagan ang mga pribadong kompaniya na bumili ng sarili nilang bakuna, maaring maraming Filipino ang nabakunahan.

Sabi naman ni Sen. Grace Poe l, sa bawat bakuna na binibili ng pribadong sektor ay nakakatipid ang gobyerno ng bakuna na dapat sa pribadong indibiduwal.

“With their resources and manpower, companies can augment vaccine supply and scale up the administration of doses to benefit our people,” sabi ni Poe na tumutukoy sa pribadong sektor.

”I laud the decision of the President to allow the private sector to import and buy vaccines at will, as this will be able to assist the government’s vaccination drive to vaccinate as much of the population as possible in the quickest period of time,” sabi naman ni Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri.

Sabi pa niya, siya ang nagsulong nang binabalangkas pa ang Bayanihan 2 na hayaan ang mga pribadong kompaniya na bumili ng COVID-19 vaccines.

“Thank you, Tatay Digong, for being a true father of the nation. Truly, there is hope that more Filipinos can be vaccinated at the soonest possible time, now that private companies can freely purchase vaccines,” ang pahayag naman ni Sen. Imee Marcos.

Noong nakaraang lingo, ibinunyag ni Marcos ang diumano’y balakin ng DOH na pagbawalan ang ilang pribadong kompaniya na bumili ng kanilang bakuna.
