Nagpositibo rin sa COVID-19 si PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar.
Ayon kay Andanar, asymptomatic siya at nakasailalim na sa home quarantine.
Nagsagawa na aniya ng contact tracing sa mga taong nakasalamuha niya upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng kaniyang staff, pamilya at publiko.
Patuloy pa rin aniya niyang gagampanan ang tungkulin, kabilang ang pag-host ng regular shows upang maghatid ng impormasyon sa publiko.
“I would not violate travel restrictions, as these strict protocols are in place for our safety, more importantly, I would never jeopardize the well-being of others”, ani Andanar.
Paalala pa nito, “At this time, I would like to remind everyone that we are all still susceptible to COVID-19. Anyone can be infected, which is why we need to strictly adhere to the safety protocols.”
Hinikayat din nito ang mga nasa lugar na nakasailalim sa enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) na maging mapagmatyag at sundin ang mga panuntunan ng gobyerno.
