Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 si Mabalacat City, Pampanga Mayor Crisostomo Garbo.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng alkalde na tumaas ang kaniyang body temperature noong Biyernes at agad siyang sumailalim sa RT-PCT test.
Nag-isolate na rin aniya siya habang hinihintay ang resulta ng pagsusuri.
Lumabas aniya ang resulta ng pagsusuri na positibo noong araw ng Sabado, March 27.
Ipinalaam na aniya niya sa mga taong nakasalamuha niya noong nakaraang linggo na positibo siya sa nakakahawang sakit at tuloy na ang full-scale contact tracing.
“In spite of the fact that I always wear face mask, face shield and observe physical distancing whenever I go out, I still urge everyone who has come in contact with me in the past few days to have themselves tested,” pahayag ni Garbo.
Dagdga pa nito, “Although I am feeling better and in good physical condition inside a medical facility, let me reiterate to my kabalens that we should take this pandemic seriously and do our part in order to stop the spreading of this virus.”
Sinabi ng alkalde na patuloy pa rin niyang gagampanan ang kaniyang tungkulin kahit naka-isolate.
“I ask the people of Mabalacat City to fervently pray not only for our community but also for the world to overcome the challenges that brought about by this pandemic,” saad pa ni Garbo.
