Malakanyang nagpaabot ng pagbati kay Cardinal Advincula
Nagpaabot ng pagbati ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa pagtatalaga ni Pope Francis kay Cardinal Jose Advincula bilang bagong Arsobispo ng Archdiocese ng Manila.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Rque, hangad ng Palasyo ang matagumpay na panunungkulan ni Cardinal Advincula sa bagong misyon.
“Binabati po natin ang bago at ika-33 Arsobispo ng Maynila, his Eminence Jose F. Advincula. Congratulations to Cardinal Advincula as he begins his mission as a new Archbishop of Manila,” pahayag ni Roque.
Itinalaga ni Pope Francis si Cardinal Advincula kapalit ni Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle na itinalaga naman sa Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelical of People.
Noong Pebrero lamang, itinalaga rin ni Pope Francis si Cardinal Tagle bilang miyembro ng Administration of the Patrimony of the Holy See.
