Protocols’ breach sa pagkakasakit ng 49 DepEd employees sa Zambales, iniimbestigahan

Iginigiit ng Department of Education o DepEd na hindi pa rin pinapayagan ang face-to-face activities kaugnay sa in-service training at iba pang seminars para sa mga guro.

Bahagi ito ng inilabas na pahayag ng kagawaran kaugnay sa pagkakasakit ng COVID-19 ng kanilang 49 empleyado matapos dumalo sa dalawang face-to-face seminars sa Zambales noong Marso 2 hanggang 6.

Sa pahayag, sinabi na kaukulang disciplinary actions ang naghihintay sa posibleng paglabag sa health protocols matapos ang isinasagawang imbestigasyon.

“We are closely monitoring our teachers who were unfortunately exposed to the virus. We have also coordinated with the concerned field offices to provide medical assistance and psychosocial support for them,” ayon pa sa pahayag ng DepEd.

Kasabay nito, hinihikayat ang kanilang field offices na mag-ingat at sumunod sa mga alternative work arrangements at protocols ng DepEd at ng Civil Service Commission.

Diin ng DepEd, istriktong sumusunod ang kagawaran sa health protocols at guidelines na itinatakda ng IATF.
