PNP RHS-7 Molecular Laboratory sa Cebu, binigyan na ng license to operate
Binigyan na ng Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau ng Department of Health (DOH) ng License to Operate ang PNP Regional Health Service-7 Molecular Laboratory in Cebu City para makapagsagawa ng COVID-19 testing.
Binigyan na ng awtorisasyon ang PNP-RHS7 para sa Reverse Transcriptase – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) testing upang ma-detect ang mga kaso ng COVID-19.
Inilabas ni DOH-HFSRB Director IV Atty. Nicolas Lutero III ang License To Operate No. 07-0017-2021-CT-2 sa PNP-RHS7 noong March 12, 2021 at valid ito hanggang December 31, 2021.
“The PNP assures a full support system to the health safety and medical needs of policemen, especially those who are deployed as front-liners in implementing government measures to protect the public from coronavirus infection,” pahayag ni PNP Officer-In-Charge Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar.
Makatutulong aniya ito para sa PNP technical capacity upang ma-detect agad ang mga kaso ng COVID-19 sa kanilang hanay at upang masuportahan ang programa ng DOH sa agresibong pagsusuri bilang hakbang sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.
Maa-accommodate aniya nito ang RT-PCR tests para sa mga pulis sa Police Regional Offices sa Western Visayas, Central Visayas at Eastern Visayas.
Ang bagong pasilidad sa Cebu City ay kayang mag-accommodate ng 60 hanggang 80 manual at 120 hanggang 180 automated COVID-19 tests kada araw.
Maliban sa bagong RT-PCR Laboratory sa Cebu City, operational na rin ang dalawang molecular laboratories sa Camp Crame na may combined capacity na 420 tests kada araw.
May dalawa ring molecular laboratories sa Davao City na may combined daily testing capacity na 320.
