Diplomatic protest ng Pilipinas sa China kaugnay sa isyu ng Julian Felipe Reef hindi pa sinasagot

Wala pang pormal na sagot ang gobyerno ng China sa pinakabagong diplomatic protest na inihain ng Department of Foreign Affairs.

Ayon kay Foreign Affairs Sec. Teodoro Locsin Jr.,  interesado din siya kung ano ang isasagot ng China.

Sinabi pa nito hindi makatuwiran na sapat na ang ‘pagbibinyag’ para maituring na pag-aari na sa isang bagay.

“Just because you name something doesn’t mean it becomes yours when it already had a name of its own conferred by its legal owner,” ang tweet ni Locsin.

Inahalintulad pa niya ang pangyayari sa eksena sa Bibliya na kinatatampukan nina Adan at Eba

“I blame the Bible with Adam and Eve walking around Eden pointing at and giving things names,” sabi pa ng kalihim.

Noong nakalipas na araw ng Linggo, inihain ni Locsin ang diplomatic protest dahil sa presensiya ng 220 Chinese vessels sa Julian Felipe Reef sa West Philippine Sea.

Ang sabi naman ng Chinese Embassy sumilong lang ang mga barko dahil sa masamang kondisyon ng karagatan bagamat matagal na rin silang nangingisda sa lugar.
