Curfew at ilang restrictions, epektibo muli sa Subic Bay Freeport
Muling ipinatupad ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) ang curfew sa Subic Bay Freeport at ibinalik ang entry at mobility restrictions upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19.
Ayon kay SBMA Chairman at Administrator Wilma Eisma, epektibo ang curfew hours sa Subic Freeport mula 12:00 ng madaling-araw hanggang 5:00 ng madaling-araw simula March 22, 2021 hanggang April 4, 2021.
Ang mga personnel na bibiyahe mula at patungong Freeport sa kasagsagan ng curfew hours ay kailangang magpakita ng SBMA-issued gate passes at company ID cards.
Tuloy pa rin naman ang cargo deliveries ngunit kailangan pa ring masunod ng crew ang health safety protocols tulad ng pagsusuot ng face mask at face shield.
Sinabi ni Eisma na papayagang makapasok ng Subic ang mga magmumula sa “NCR Plus bubble” kung mayroong business purpose, at kailangang makapagpakita ng email confirmation ng appointment sa Freeport.
“Those from NCR Plus who would stay in Subic for more than 24 hours will be required to show negative RT-PCR test results with a validity of 24 hours, while persons from MGCQ (modified general community quarantine) areas who would stay here for 4 days and 3 nights or beyond will also be required to undergo RT-PCR test,” paglilinaw ni Eisma.
Kasama sa “NCR Plus bubble” ang National Capital Region, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, at Cavite.
Istrikto rin aniyang ipatutupad ang mga panuntunan ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) sa ilalim ng Resolution No. 96 kung saan ipinagbabawal ang paglabas ng bahay ng mga may edad 15-anyos pababa at 65-anyos pataas, mga buntis o may karamdaman maliban na lamang kung para sa trabaho, o pagbili ng pangunahing pangangailangan.
Ipinagbabawal din ng SBMA ang mga bata na may edad tatlong taong gulang pababa sa mga beach sa Subic, pag-inom ng alak sa mga pampublikong lugar, at picnick sa public spaces sa Waterfront, Boardwalk Park, Malawaan Park, at San Bernardino Road.
Pinaalalahanan ni Eisma ang Subic stakeholders na manatili sa kani-kanilang tahanan at iwasan muna ang non-essential travel.
“While the Subic Bay Freeport Zones remains to be one of the urban communities in the country with the least number of cases, we have to take more pro-active measures to protect our ourselves, our family, our livelihood, and the bigger community we live in. We cannot afford another lockdown, so we must do all we can to prevent it,” saad ni Eisma.
Ibinalik din ng SBMA ang alternating teams sa mga tauhan na magtatrabaho sa mga opisina sa gitna ng two-week period.
“Prudence is always the better part of valor. And with prudence, we ensure our own protection and those of our loved ones and the Subic community. Just as important, we also guarantee that economic activities in Subic continue for all our sake,” aniya pa.
