Napauwing overseas Filipinos sa bansa, nasa 394,107 na – DFA
Tuloy pa rin ang repatriation efforts ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa gitna ng pandemya dahil sa COVID-19.
Sa huling tala hanggang March 20, 2021, umabot sa 394,107 overseas Filipinos ang napauwi sa repatriation efforts ng kagawaran.
Sa nasabing bilang, 104,290 ang seafarers habang 289,817 naman ang land-based overseas Filipinos.
Sa nagdaang linggo, 6,501 overseas Filipinos ang nakabalik ng Pilipinas.
Kabilang dito ang charterer flight mula Laos at Myanmar.
May medical repat din mula United States at ilang undocumented overseas Filipinos mula sa China at Malaysia.
Siniguro ng kagawaran na patuloy ang kanilang pagtulong sa mga Filipino na stranded sa ibang bansa dahil sa COVID-19 travel restrictions.
