Emergency use ng Sputnik V ng Russia inaprubahan na ng FDA
Inaprubahan na ng Food and Drug Administration ang emergency use authorization para sa paggamit ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 na gawa ng Sputnik V ng Russia.
Ayon kay FDA chief Eric Domingo, maari lamang gamitin ang Sputnik V vaccine sa mga nag-eedad 18 anyos pataas.
Ang Sputnik V ang ikaabat na bakuna na inaprubahan ng FDA.
“The study was done in people 18 years and above. About 1/4 of them had comorbidities and a big group, around 10%, was senior citizens. It showed that the efficacy of the drug was quite uniform among all age groups,” pahayag ni Domingo.
Bukod sa Sputnik V, binigyan na rin ng FDA ng EUA ang Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, at Sinovac.
