DOLE main building at iba pang opisina, naka-lockdown hanggang March 18

Isinailalim sa lockdown ang ilang opisina ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), kabilang ang main office sa Intramuros, Maynila.

Ayon kay Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, ito ay matapos madiskubre na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ang tatlo nilang empleyado.

Nag-umpisa ang lockdown bandang 2:00, Miyerkules ng hapon (March 17) at tatagal hanggang Huwebes, March 18.

“Sa Friday [March 19], magre-resume ng operation pero may selective reporting ‘yun lamang mga essential workers natin ang magre-report. All the rest will report on Monday [March 22],” pahayag ni Bello.

Sinabi ni DOLE Information and Publication Service director Rolly Francis na sakop ng lockdown ang buong DOLE building sa central office, DOLE offices sa BF Condominium sa Intramuros at G. E. Antonio Building sa T.M. Kalaw, Ermita.

Ibinahagi naman ng kalihim na negatibo siya sa nakakahawang sakit.

Hinihintay pa aniya ang resulta ng RT-PCR swab test ng iba pang empleyado ng kagawaran.
