Mga edad 17 taong gulang pababa, bawal lumabas ng bahay sa NCR simula sa March 17

Ipagbabawal ang paglabas ng mga menor de edad mula 17 taong gulang pababa sa Metro Manila simula sa Miyerkules, March 17.

Sa inilabas na abiso, sinabi ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na ito ay kasunod ng tumataas na bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa National Capital Region (NCR).

Binuo ng Metro Manila Council, sa pamamagitan ng MMDA, ang resolusyon na nagbabawal sa mga menor de edad, partikular ang 15 hanggang 17-anyos, na lumabas ng tahanan sa susunod na dalawang linggo.

Tanging ang mga indibidwal lamang mula 18 hanggang 65 taong gulang ang papayagang makalabas ng kanilang bahay.

Ayon kay MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos, sinang-ayunan ito ng Metro Manila mayors upang mapigilan ang pagkalat ng nakakahawang sakit.

“We are implementing age restrictions because of the increase in our COVID-19 cases,” paliwanag nito.

Hinikayat ni Abalos ang publiko na istriktong sundin ang minimum health protocols.

“As I’ve said before, the metro mayors and MMDA are regularly monitoring the COVID-19 numbers and we will implement calibration and changes on our directives depending on the figures that we have,” dagdag pa nito.
