P20.4-M halaga ng hinihinalang shabu, nasabat sa Sulu
Nasamsam ng mga awtoridad ang milyun-milyong halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa Jolo, Sulu.
Ayon sa Philippine National Police Public Information Office, ikinasa ang buy-bust operation sa bahagi ng Barangay Walled City, Linggo ng umaga (March 14).
Sanib-pwersa sa operasyon ang mga operatiba ng Sulu, Jolo MPS, Indanan MPS, 11th at 35th Mobile Intelligence Battalion katuwang ang PDEA BAR.
Batay sa mga ulat ng PRO Bangsamoro Autonomous Region Regional Director Police Brigadier General Samuel Rodriguez kay PNP Officer-in-Charge, Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, naaresto ang drug suspect na si Ejek Ali Abduhalim, 44-anyos na residente ng Barangay Bas-Nonok sa Lugus.
Nakuha kay Abduhalim ang isang paper bag na naglalaman ng humigit-kumulang tatlong kilo ng hinihinalang shabu na may estimated street value na P20.4 milyon at dalawang mobile phones.
Mahaharap ang drug suspect sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
