DepEd, inanunsiyo ang early registration schedule para sa S.Y. 2021-2022
Magsasagawa ang Department of Education (DepEd) ng early registration para sa SY 2021-2022 mula March 26 hanggang April 30, 2021.
Kasunod ito ng ilang pagbabago sa school calendar para sa SY 2020-2021.
Layon ng month-long activity na matiyak na rehistrado ang mga papasok na estudyante para sa susunod na school year.
Sinabi ng kagawaran na makakatulong din ito upang mas mapaghandaan ang mga posibleng isyu o problema na kaharapin.
“All incoming Kindergarten, Grades 1, 7, and 11 in public elementary and secondary schools shall pre-register to allow the Department to make necessary preparations and incoming plans for the coming school year,” pahayag ni Secretary Leonor Brione.
Ayon sa kalihim, ikinokonsidera na bilang pre-registered ang mga estudyante sa Grades 2 hanggang 6, 8 hanggang 10, at 12 at dahil dito, hindi na aniya kailangang makiisa sa early registration.
Mandatory ang early registration para sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa bansa habang optional naman sa mga pribadong paaralan.
Gayunman, ipinag-utos sa mga pribadong paaralan na ipatupad ang Kindergarten cut-off age sa ilalim ng DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018.
Nagpaalala naman ang DepEd sa mga paaralan at publiko na sundin pa rin ang precautionary measures laban sa COVID-19 para sa early registration activity.
“In the context of the prevailing COVID-19 public health emergency, the conduct of early registration shall be done remotely in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ),” ani Briones at dagdag pa nito, “In-person registration through parents or guardians may be allowed in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) provided physical distancing and health and safety protocols are strictly observed.”
