Sinibak na sa puwesto ang hepe ng Calbayog City PNP sa lalawigan ng Samar.
Sa anunsyo ni Philippine National Police officer-in-charge Police Lt. General Guillermo Eleazar, inalis sa bilang hepe ng pulisya sa lungsod si Police Lt. Colonel Niel Montaño, epektibo ngayong araw, March 14.
Ito ayon kay Eleazar ay dahil sa madugong engkwentro na ikinasawi ni Calbayog City Mayor Ronald Aquino at limang iba pa.
May kaugnayan din ang pag-alis sa puwesto sa opisyal sa paghingi ng isa nitong tauhan sa Calbayog Regional Trial Court ng listahan ng mga abogado na kumakatawan sa mga hinihinalang mga rebelde at komunista.
