$400-million loan ng Pilipinas sa ADB aprubado na

Inaprubahan na ng Asian Development Bank ang $400-million loan ng Pilipinas para sa pagbili ng bakuna kontra Covid 19.

Sa statement ng ADB, sinabi nito na ang Pilipinas ang kauna-unahang recipient ng financing support mula saa Asia Pacific Vaccine Access Facility.

“ADB’s support will boost the Philippine government’s urgent efforts to secure and deploy COVID-19 vaccines for all Filipinos, especially those who are vulnerable, such as frontline workers, the elderly, and poor and marginalized populations, as well as those at increased risk of severe illness,” pahayag ni ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa.

Ayon sa ADB, kritikal ang Covid 19 vaccines para agad na makarekober ang ekonomiya ng bansa.

Nabatid na lalagdaan at madi-disbursed ang loan sa loob ng buwang ito.
