Alabang Sucat Skyway Extension (Northbound), target matapos sa 2nd quarter ng 2021

Nagsagawa ng inspeksyon ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa three-lane Skyway Extension na nagkokonekta sa Skyway patungong South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) sa pamamagitan ng Alabang Viaduct.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, kumpiyansa siyang makapagbibigay ang 3.9-kilometer Sucat-Alabang Skyway Extension Project ng maayos na biyahe sa mga motorista.

Sinabi ng kalihim na 61 porsyento nang tapos ang naturang proyekto.

“With 61% of the project already complete, travel time from the Skyway main line toll plaza in Sucat, Paranaque to Susana Heights in SLEX will soon be reduced by around 50%, greatly easing the traffic situation for those who are going home to the provinces,” pahayag ni Villar.

Kasama rin sa proyekto ang pagpapalawak ng Skyway Alabang Toll Plaza upang ma-accommodate ang mas maraming motorista sa parehong Northbound at Southbound directions.

“We are targeting completion of the northbound segment second quarter of this year while the southbound segment is being fast-tracked for delivery on September as part of our goal,” dagdag pa nito.
