Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Department of Agrarian Reform na madaliin na ang pamamahagi ng lupa sa mga lugar na laganap pa rin ang communist unsurgency.
Ayon sa Pangulo, ito ay para maiwasan na ang pagre-rebelde sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng bansa.
Ayon sa Pangulo, aabot sa 450,000 ektaryang lupa ang nakatakdang ipamahagi ng DAR.
