COVID-19 vaccines na gawa ng AstraZeneca, darating na sa bansa sa March 4

Darating na sa Pilipinas sa araw ng Huwebes, Marso 4, ang mga bakuna ng AstraZeneca.

Ito ang kinumpirma nina Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque at Senador Christopher “Bong” Go.

Ayon kay Go, 487,200 doses ng bakuna ang darating sa Villamor Airbase sa Pasay City bandang 7:30 ng gabi.

Ayon kay Go, personal nilang sasalubungin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga bakuna.

Ayon kay Go, ito ang mga bakuna na nakatakda sanang dumating sa bansa noong Marso 1 subalit naudlot dahil sa limitadong suplay.

“AstraZeneca’s expected time of arrival is based on the scheduled handover of vaccines. We will notify everyone, if and when there is a change of schedule,” pahayag naman ni Roque.

Matatandaan na noong Februrary 28, dumating na sa bansa ang 600,000 doses ng bakuna na gawa ng Sinovac.
