Health workers na naturukan ng COVID-19 vaccine sa Maynila, halos 400 na

Halos 400 healthcare workers na ang nabigyan ng bakuna laban sa COVID-19 sa Lungsod ng Maynila.

Sa pinakahuling tala ng Manila Health Department sa araw ng Miyerkules, March 3, umabot na sa 382 healthcare workersang nabakunahan gamit ang Sinovac vaccine.

Kasabay pa rin ito ng ikinakasang vaccination rollout ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Ayon kay Mayor Isko Moreno, hihintayin muna niya ang tamang clearance bago siya magpabakuna.

Alinsunod kasi sa patakaran ng Department of Health at Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), mauunang bakunahan ang medical frontliners.

Patuloy namang hinihikayat ng alkalde ang publiko na magpabakuna dahil malaki aniya ang proteksyong maibibigay nito laban sa nakamamatay na sakit.

Nasa 3,000 Sinovac vaccine vials ang nai-turnover sa Sta. Ana Hospital para magamit sa 1,500 indibidwal.
